Library
The library of the “Philosophisch-Theologischen Hochschule Brixen“ is a technical library specialized on philosophical and theological contents and it is open both for students and for external visitors. It is the central library of the diocese of Bozen-Brixen.
At the present time the library comprises 166,000 copies of books and other types of media. Apart from a wide range of scientific treatises and 235 peer reviewed journals different daily and weekly newspapers are available

The Catalogue of the Scientific Library of South Tyrol includes
- University Library Bolzano incl. Collection of the “Museion” and the “Claudio Monteverdi” Conservatory of Bolzano

- Library of the Research Centre Laimburg
- Library of the South Tyrolean Museum of Archaeology and others
Interlibrary loan form
Non-existent books or articles may be obtained from other libraries against expenses. This service is made possible by the collaboration with the University Library of the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano. Interlibrary loan is via the Library Catalogue (Log in - Interlibrary Loan).
Baroque Library
The Baroque library hall (1772) extends over two floors. The ceiling is supported by two columns, which symbolise "Scripture" and "Tradition".
The library contains over 20,000 volumes, the oldest of which date back to the private libraries of the prince-bishops of Brixen/Bressanone.
As part of the "HLS" project (Historical Libraries of South Tyrol), the historical book holdings of the seminary have been scientifically indexed.
