Semester abroad in Brixen
The Philosophical-Theological College Brixen/Bressanone is a great place to spend a semester abroad at a German-speaking college in Italy. Students appreciate the familiar character of the university and the special atmosphere of the city of Brixen. For professionals, it is also possible to enrol at the PTH during a sabbatical year.
Coursework completed (and credits earned) at the university is standardly recognised by Catholic theological faculties.
For those who want to take advantage of the proximity to the Italian cultural area to improve their language skills, the university offers free Italian courses. PTH students can also take part in the German and Italian language courses at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, whose Faculty of Education is based in Brixen-Bressanone.
